Locate Snijder family. Waalwijk

  • Roelof A Buitink

I am an American citizen, born 1925 Tulsa,Oklahoma USA My parents and

myself lived in Wassenaar (ZH) during WW2. After Pearl Harbour we were interned

in Camp Amersfoort with about 120 other Americans I am trying to locate a family

by the name of Snijder ( or Schnijder) They had a son by the name of Birt(or Burt)

and a daughter by the name of Jo. Jo married and moved to Chicago and passed

away some time during 1948. During 1947 I visited Burt and his wife and young

child while in Waalwijk. Question: does any one know if the family is still in Waal-

wijk or know thier where abouts. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks Roelof Buitink

I`am sorry that I can't help you personally, but maybe you should write to a Dutch television station with a program called “spoorloos”. They try to find lost relatives and friends with great succes for years. The e-mail addres is spoorloos@kro.nl

or if your Dutch is up to it, look on the internet at www.spoorloos.kro.nl

Hope this wil bring you what you want. Good luck
