Hello:

My name is Jeff Lagasse. I am wondering if you would have any suggestions as to how I might find some information.

My uncle was in the Royal Canadian Artillery with a Light Anti Aircraft Regiment during the war. At the end of the war when Queen Wilhemina returned from England he was a part of the parade procession. He said it was led by six white Harley Davidson motorcycles and he was driving one of them. I am wondering if there are any pictures from the time of the Queens return.

Unfortunately,he has since passed on as of six weeks ago and I have very little information to go on. Judging by his unit war diary they spent quite a lot of time in the Netherlands during its liberation and I think he would be quite pleased if I am able to find some information. He always spoke well of his time there during and after the war. I have pictures of his gun crew and the Dutch kids they looked after.
